Ms. Gilgannon incorportates historically accurate references to food (oyster pastries!), buildings, "urban" design (Dublin a thousand or so years ago), games, beverages, and so much more (including compelling plots and even subtle philosophical or social commentary). These are really good and intelligent reads. The only downside to Ms. Gilgannon's books is the imagination searing and disconcerting erotic prose which is both enhanced and even exceededed in its sensuality only by the demeanor and fashion choices of the supermodel author herself. If only she embraced Oscar Wilde's "the lethargy of custom" and "lack of imagination" characterizations of married persons I should be privileged to be Dag to her Fiona anytime!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4074989774366743036.post-39076941433311495072012-05-01T08:41:43.185-07:002012-05-01T08:41:43.185-07:00What a lovely trip and your descriptions bring eve...What a lovely trip and your descriptions bring everything to life!
